Dr. Frank is the Director of Quality and Performance for the Hospitalist Service Line at CEP America. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care, and is a dynamic physician director in hospitalist and hospital operations. Dr. Frank has worked as a hospitalist for 14 years, starting a longstanding hospitalist program in 2005, and has been an active leader in Quality and Utilization Management for over 20 years.  Prior to joining CEP America, he helped lead multiple clinical integration initiatives and palliative care initiatives at John Muir Health in his position as Medical Director of Inpatient Case Management. Dr. Frank is a current member of Society of Hospital Medicine’s (SHM) Practice Management Committee and previously served on their Hospital Quality and Patient Safety committee. In 2014, he lectured on the topic of Patient Flow at SHM’s annual conference and has been invited to speak at the 2015 conference as well. Dr. Frank graduated from USC School of Medicine and completed his residency at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA. He received his MBA from the University of Tennessee in 2011 and has advanced training in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
