Imamu Tomlinson, MD, MBA

Dr. Tomlinson is the President of CEP America and the Board of Directors intends to appoint him CEO in January 2017. Prior to his appointment as President in 2016, he served as Regional Director for the Sequoia Region, where he led the integration of one of CEP America's first multi-hospital, multispecialty integrated networks. Dr. Tomlinson also served as the Chief of Staff for Adventist Medical Center Hanford and Adventist Medical Center Selma, where he will continue to practice as an emergency physician. He previously served as Medical Director for the Hanford and Selma emergency departments, which received CEP America site of the year distinctions. Dr. Tomlinson led an effort to create the Department of Emergency and Diagnostic Medicine and served as the chair of that department. He was the Mid Valley Emergency Nursing Association Emergency Physician of the Year in 2006 and received a CEP America distinguished service award in 2008. Dr. Tomlinson received his bachelor of science in Biology from St. Lawrence University in New York and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He completed his residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. In 2012, Dr. Tomlinson completed his MBA in Healthcare Administration from California Coast University.
