CEP America, one of the nation’s largest and most experienced providers of acute care management solutions, has partnered with Anaheim Global Medical Center
and regional healthcare system Citrus Valley Health Partners
(CVHP), to staff their busy emergency departments.
Anaheim Global Medical Center has delivered innovative and advanced medical care to the Orange County community for over 40 years. Today, with its 189-licensed bed facility, it provides comprehensive healthcare for the entire family through its Emergency Room, Maternal Child Health, Senior Mental Health Discoveries Center, Cardiology program and more. Anaheim Global Medical Center is also a Healthgrades 2015 Award Recipient for Coronary Bypass Surgery and Coronary Intervention.
CVHP is the largest nonprofit health care provider in the East San Gabriel Valley region. Its network of emergency departments at Inter-Community Hospital, Queen of the Valley Hospital and Foothill Presbyterian Hospital includes one of the busiest in Los Angeles County. Together they serve more than 116,000 patients each year. The emergency department at Inter-Community Hospital is the only hospital in the East San Gabriel Valley region with STEMI Receiving Center (SRC) designation.
“Together with these new partners, CEP America emergency physicians are working to implement best practices in emergency department management,” said Phillip Piccinini, Vice President at CEP America. “Effectively managing patient flow both in the emergency room and hospital-wide is key to ensuring patients receive high quality, compassionate care at all times.”
“We are honored to be partnering with CEP America as we continue advancing our efforts to improve Emergency Department wait times, optimizing patient engagement and providing the very best healthcare,” said KPC Health CEO of Healthcare Operations, Suzanne Richards. “This partnership will allow Anaheim Global Medical Center to effectively manage our patient influx in a timely and effective manner.”
CEP America is a physician owned and operated medical organization that works with hospitals and health systems to integrate patient care across the acute care continuum, while improving clinical outcomes and patient experiences. CEP America physicians began providing critical emergency services to Anaheim Global Medical Center on December 1, 2015 and all three of CVHP’s hospital sites on January 1, 2016.
