San Joaquin General Hospital Partners with CEP America

On July 28, 2014, San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, Calif. began a partnership with CEP America, one of the nation’s largest providers of acute care management solutions, to manage and provide the professional services staff at the medical center’s Emergency Department (ED).  San Joaquin General Hospital joins a network of over 100 CEP America practice locations across the country serving over 4.5 million patients annually.

“As we strive to deliver the highest quality of care to residents of our community, CEP America became the logical group for us to partner with,” said David Culberson, Chief Executive Officer of San Joaquin General Hospital. “Working with CEP America, visitors to our Emergency Department can expect to be seen by passionate providers dedicated to providing the highest quality of care.”

CEP America, an independent physician‐owned partnership, offers a wide range of clinical, staffing and administrative expertise designed to increase clinical quality and service excellence across the acute care continuum. Since its founding in 1975, CEP America has grown to include over 2,500 providers working in urgent, emergency, inpatient, and post-acute care settings.

San Joaquin General Hospital, originally established in 1857, is a general acute care facility providing a full range of inpatient services including General Medical/Surgical Care, High-Risk Obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Intensive Care. In addition to the 196-bed hospital, the medical campus includes multiple facilities dedicated to comprehensive outpatient services including Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.
