Providence Hospital in Washington, DC Selects CEP America to Manage its Emergency Care Center

Providence Hospital, a member of Ascension Health located in Washington, DC, has selected CEP America, one of the nation’s largest providers of acute care management solutions, to manage and staff its Emergency Care Center beginning on November 5, 2014. Providence Hospital joins a network of over 100 CEP America practice locations across the country serving over 4.5 million patients annually.

This marks CEP America’s first hospital partner located in the nation’s capital.

“After hearing of CEP America’s success at the emergency department at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, we knew they would be a good fit here at Providence,” commented Patricia Evans, MD, Senior VP of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at Providence Hospital. “Coupled with our state-of-the-art Emergency Care Center, patients visiting Providence Hospital will experience shorter wait times and be treated by providers committed to providing the highest quality of care.”

CEP America providers will be working in Providence Hospital’s newly renovated and expanded Emergency Care Center which opened in October.
