Imamu Tomlinson, MD
Dr. Tomlinson is the Chief Executive Officer of CEP America. Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2017, Dr. Tomlinson served as the President of CEP America. He was previously Regional Director for the Sequoia Region, where he led the integration of one of CEP America's first multi-hospital, multispecialty integrated networks. Dr. Tomlinson also served as a member of the CEP America Board of Directors from January 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, he served as the Chief of Staff for the Adventist Central Valley Network, where he continues to practice as an emergency physician. He also served as Medical Director for the Hanford and Selma emergency departments, which received CEP America site of the year distinctions. Dr. Tomlinson led an effort to create the Department of Emergency and Diagnostic Medicine and served as department chair. He was the Mid Valley Emergency Nursing Association Emergency Physician of the Year in 2006 and received a CEP America Distinguished Service Award in 2008.
Dr. Tomlinson received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Lawrence University in New York and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He completed his residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. In 2012, Dr. Tomlinson completed his MBA in Healthcare Administration from California Coast University.
